Before dental school, Dr. Jess blended her artistic eye and technical skills as a Digital Smile Design Coordinator and photographer in a high-end cosmetic dental practice. She went on to earn her Master’s in Oral Biology at NYU, completing an 18-month program in just nine months, and publishing a thesis that bridged her background in bioengineering with dental materials and implantology.

A proud graduate of NYU College of Dentistry, Dr. Jess has been creating healthy, confident smiles across South Florida for over five years. She has advanced training in clear aligner therapy, implantology, and biomaterials, and is known for her personalized, minimally invasive approach. She has quickly earned Invisalign Gold Plus Provider status and is recognized as a “Done in One” provider by the American Academy of Clear Aligners—a distinction awarded to clinicians who achieve optimal results with just one set of aligners.

Outside the office, Dr. Jess is a passionate baker and creative spirit, known for designing over-the-top custom cakes for special occasions. She met her husband, Dr. Shapiro, in a college biology lab, and they’ve been inseparable ever since. Together, they love traveling, trying new foods, and creating meaningful, joy-filled moments. Whether crafting smiles or cakes, Dr. Jessica Shapiro brings intention, artistry, and care to everything she does.
